Coastal Concern Ltd is a charity set up in 2004 by nine residents of Happisburgh expressly to raise funds to provide sea defences for Happisburgh. In March 2007 the charity made a donation of £40,000 to North Norfolk District Coucil allowing them to extend the emergency works being carried out at Happisburgh by at least 20%. However this is only a short term solution and more work will be needed in future years to maximise the benefit of the rocks on the beach - we need to be ready to support this work when the time comes.
By donating to the 'Buy a Rock for Happisburgh' appeal, all monies raised will be used to maintain and improve the protection for the cliffs from the sea, giving the village a more predicatble future.
This is how you can donate:
- By post - cheques payable to 'Coastal Concern Ltd' should be posted to: The Financial Officer, Coastal Concern Ltd, Cliff House, Beach Road, Happisburgh, Norwich, NR12 0PP
- By hand - donations can be handed in at Happisburgh Post Office Stores
- By bank transfer - a/c name: Coastal Concern Ltd, a/c number: 81450298 sort code: 402222 Bank: HSBC, 21 Hall Quay, Gt Yarmouth NR30 1HN
